What is Kinsman Redeemer All About?

Recently, Kinsman Redeemer had the joy of spending time with several women from Dickson County Women of Excellence, a local network of female leaders founded by Diana Sumpter. Diana was joined by Margaret Cole from Care Net Pregnancy Medical Center , April Childers of the Middle Tennessee Veterans Coalition, and two other guests for a time of connection, conversation, and encouragement. Liz shared about the ministry’s mission, the realities of homelessness in Dickson County, and the impact of showing up with prayer, compassion, and consistency. We are so grateful for the Women of Excellence, Crosspoint Church, and the many people in our community who continue to say yes to serving others.

Meet Mark

Our dear friend Mark encountered an unexpected turn of events when he suddenly lost his income due to a medical crisis. We are saddened that he has had to endure this trial, but we’re grateful to have him in our lives. Please pray for our brother.

Meet Barbara & Jacque

Barbara and Jacque met through READ Dickson, where Jacque realized Barbara was living in her vehicle and reached out to Kinsman for help. Now Jacque serves as Kinsman’s Connections Team Leader, and the two often meet at Workforce Essentials to help other neighbors in need. We’re grateful for READ Dickson, Workforce Essentials, and the way this community shows up for each other.
